I. CARD TYPES

1. GENETICS — The Core of Every Lifeform

Each Genetic card represents a bio-digital entity stored inside the GENE Network. Every Genetic card contains:

  • POWER – Combat strength (1–20)
  • CHAOS – Instability level (–1 to –10)
  • DNA CLASS – A / C / G / T / (rare) U

Avatars:
Once a Genetic card is placed into the Arena, it becomes an Avatar.
Additional Genetics may be attached under it as hidden enhancements.

2. GEN-BOOSTERS — Support Programs

Instant Boosters

  • Playable at any time
  • Sent to the Nirvana after resolving

♾️ Main Boosters

  • Only 1 Main Booster may be active at a time
  • Remains in play until replaced by another Main Booster

II. FIELD ZONES

  1. Hand – Cards you can play
  2. Arena – Up to 3 active Avatars
  3. Deck – Recommended size: 45 cards
  4. Nirvana – Discard pile for defeated Avatars & used Boosters

III. DECK CONSTRUCTION

  • 45 cards recommended
  • Maximum 3 copies of any card
  • You choose the ratio (e.g., 30 Genetics / 15 Boosters)

DNA Classes gain deeper meaning in future expansions (Dimensions / Raids).

IV. GAME START

  1. Both players shuffle their decks
  2. Draw 7 cards
  3. Starting player places one Genetic into the Arena as their first Avatar
  4. Optionally attach one additional Genetic beneath it

V. AVATARS & GENETICS

1. Power Calculation

Avatar Power = Base Power + all attached Genetic cards

2. Hidden & Revealed Genetics

  • Newly attached Genetics are hidden
  • A Genetic becomes revealed once you flip it open
  • Revealed Genetics stay permanently open
  • Only revealed Genetics contribute Chaos

3. Selective Reveal System

You decide in each battle:

  • Reveal more → more Power, more Chaos
  • Reveal less → less Power, more stability
  • Perfect bluffing tool

VI. CHAOS SYSTEM (INSTABILITY)

Chaos begins at 0 and is only generated by revealed Genetics. Two thresholds define the flow of battle:

🔹 –10 CHAOS → Minor Instability

Discard 1 card from your hand into the Nirvana. Chaos remains unchanged.

🔥 –20 CHAOS (or lower) →Major Overload

Your Avatar with the highest Power loses ALL attached Genetics (both hidden & revealed). Chaos resets to 0. The Avatar stays on the field, but without enhancements.

VII. LIFE POINTS (LP)

  • Players start at 100 LP
  • Damage is dealt directly when the defender has no Avatar available
  • Direct damage = Power of the attacking Avatar

Game End Condition: You lose when your LP reach 0.

VIII. TURN STRUCTURE

1. Draw Phase

  • Draw 1 card
  • If you have 0 cards in hand, draw 2 cards instead (Emergency Draw)

2. Genetic Phase

  • You may attach only 1 Genetic per turn (regardless of how many Avatars you control)

3. Booster Phase

  • Instant Boosters → anytime
  • Main Boosters → replace the current Main Booster

4. Battle Phase

  • Each Avatar may attack once per turn

IX. BATTLE SYSTEM

1. Declare Attack: Choose one of your Avatars.

2. Opponent Declares Defender: Choose one of your Avatars to defend.

3. Selective Reveal: Both players may reveal any number of hidden Genetics they choose.

4. Compare Power: Highest Power wins the battle. Tie → no one is defeated.

5. Battle Consequence: The losing Avatar and all attached Genetics go to the Nirvana.

X. THE NIRVANA

The Nirvana contains:

  • Defeated Avatars
  • All Genetics attached to defeated Avatars
  • Used Instant Boosters
  • Replaced Main Boosters
  • Discarded cards (Minor Instability)

Cards in the Nirvana do not return unless future Dimensions or Raids say otherwise.
